Jersey City’s City Hall removal of a worn vinyl floor tile led to the discovery of ceramic tile that was over 120 years old! The tile was not only in great condition, but it also helped to preserve the subfloor underneath it. After some cleaning, the ceramic tile gleams throughout the City Hall building looking as good as it did over 100 years ago. That’s #WhyTile!
